A 10 Step Action Plan To Stop The Avian Flu
More cases of the Avian flu were announced today. The first ones started in Vietnam and have now spread to China. I know, you are thinking well the US is very far from China. You are right. It is about a day’s plane ride.
Another announcement today: a number of children who took a certain well publicized Avian Flu preventive drug have died. An analysis of the cause of death has begun. Would you like to wager the results will have nothing to do with the drug that the world is rushing like mad to stockpile? Remember this drug has never been proven to be effective in preventing the Avian flu or helping people who have contracted it.
Is the Avian Flu real? Yes! Why? The world’s population has been conditioned by the media for the past 2 years to expect the bird flu pandemic. Did you ever read or hear the saying “ you become what you think about”? Do you believe it? You Don’t? Well make a log of what dominates your thinking and then ask yourself if you are moving toward or away from what you are thinking about. If your log tells you something different, redo the study.
The 10 Steps You Must Take Right Now To Survive The Avian Flu:
1.Choose to be in he surviving group. Focus on being in the group of people who will not catch this disease. Imagine yourself in that group. Just think if 10 million people die of the flu in the US, that is awful. But more than 250 million didn’t. Which group do you want to be in? So you say, well I think the number of people who will die from the bird flu is 20 million. OK. That leaves more than 240 million who didn’t. What group do you want to be in? This is important for you to decide right now that you are going to be healthy or sick. Actually it is your choice.
2.Drink more: - water. I personally no of no person who drinks enough water. I of course do. After all I could not possibly write this advice if I didn’t follow it.
3. Wash you hands. I have to comment on this. I travel a lot plus I go to a local gym to workout. Recently I noticed the large number of people who do not wash their hands. This is totally disgusting. The next time you shake someone’s hand, use a handrail on an escalator, push a grocery cart or touch anything else a large number of people come in contact with daily, just think about being in the bathroom and think about what happens there and then remember that more that 50% of the people you touch directly or indirectly have not washed their hands. Now if they don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom, do you think they wash their hands after picking their nose or sneezing or scratching themselves? Now you know how stuff is spread. In conclusion, look at the person next to you. If they have washed their hands, we’ll do you remember the song “Can’t Touch This” This is my song: “You’ve Lost That Healthy Feeling so Don’t Touch Me or Anything Near Me”
4. Don’t sleep with your mate, your partner or whatever term is politically correct this week, or your kids if they are sick. Plus give each person in your family their individual towels and dishes etc. (Don’t get me started on sleeping with your dog or some other family pet. Do you ever think about where they put their nose? )
5. Stress weakens the immune system. Now, the fact is stress doesn’t exist. That is right. Did you ever see stress? Did you ever touch stress? You can’t buy it. You certainly cannot sell it. Negative thinking and response to life causes an adverse reaction in your body which triggers a whole host of less than positive chemical reactions that breakdown your natural immune system. I don’t believe truly happy and content people get sick. OK, I know you know someone who appears to be a wonderful person and who is sick. Well I believe that person is masking some negative part of their life. Anyway, you don’t have to agree with me on all these points. Just recognize that if you are consistently deluged with negative people and experiences, your immune system is going to have a tough time standing up to a serious flu or disease attack.
6. Now here we go with the every day in your face blah blah blah stuff: unhealthy food, unhealthy substances and an unhealthy lifestyle weaken your immune system. I know you don’t want to hear it. OK – how about: you can eat anything and everything you want and it doesn’t matte if your are obese; you can drink all the alcohol you want; you can smoke all day, all night and use other “make you feel good substances” all you want. Do you believe that? Now I have to tell you I am no saint when it comes to following all of this advice. When I am home it is easier for me to follow a healthy diet and get exercise and drink certain liquids in moderation. As I mentioned, I travel and when I travel it is three, no 10 times harder to follow a healthy diet and lifestyle. I work at just like I recommend you work at it. And when the sum comes up and you are out there in the fresh air working your muscles and your lungs, there is a satisfying feeling and an uplifting feeling. I can also tell you that feeling is possible with ice on your mustache. I can tell you that because I have experienced it.
7.Exercise for at least 20 minutes three times a week. I know you are busy. Well I am busy too and you know what: There Is Always Time. There Is Always 20 minutes in any given day. There are no excuses.
8. Use nutritional supplements. I remember finding Dr. David William’s Alternative Health Newsletter quite a number of years ago. In one of those very early editions I remember reading a story about how when margarine was feed to cows they died. Now please don’t hold me to this and don’t go trying to get verification from Dr. Williams about margarine killing cows. The point is that the logic of all his articles in his newsletters made a lot of sense then as it still does. For a long time I have been an advocate and user of supplements. If you pay attention to the foundation products of nutritional supplements you will discover your favorites. I have mine and while I do even today I will find new material and begin with a new product that will help me as I approach the ripe old age of 40. For the record, for quite some time now, I have been approaching 40. That is my story and I am sticking with it.
9. Start you own research now on how to live healthy. Three days ago I was at the gym and I marveled at this lady moving her body through all kinds of amazing contortions. Her being very attractive helped my marveling. However, I have to tell you, I could practice those moves for 6 hours a day and never be able to do what she can do. Some things were made to enjoy by watching and not doing. I also marveled at George, who now must be over 90 and still looks like the same out of shape person I observed a number of years ago and wondered then how he could make it to the gym. Come to think of it, I don’t believe I have ever seen him use any of the machines. He exercises his jaws a lot taking with people. Somehow I think that exercise is good for him. You don’t have to go to the gym, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on supplements, but when you do the research you will understand you must exercise your body and you must get the right nutrients and liquids in your system. What is right is open for debate but that is why you should do your own research.
10.When you decide you are going to eat or drink something the health gurus would say no to, enjoy it.
