Snacks - Most Are Unhealthy and What a Waste of Energy

As reported on the front page of MSN, the most unhealthy snacks include french fries, potato chips and a lot more items including some very popular drinks. Food that has little or no nutritional value adds weight, impairs your cardiovascular and  digestive systems and has a major adverse affect on blood sugar regulation.

Eating takes energy. Energy for chewing is obvious but what about this list of energy consuming activities: digestion and elimination, travel to and from the store as well as shipping, the production of the food product and the growing and or production  of the ingredients. This is actually a shortened list. So all of that energy for products that are damaging to your health.
